On 6th January 2023, SecAlliance was delighted to announce the appointment of Mick Reynolds as their new Director of Intelligence. Mick has held senior roles within the Bank of England, Cisco, FCA and Direct Line Group. At the Bank of England and the FCA Mick was responsible for the design and delivery of the CBEST framework, supported the design of iCAST, TIBER-NL, TIBER-EU and TBEST, and was one of the authors of the G7 paper on the Principles of Intelligence Led Penetration Testing. At Direct Line Group Mick was the Head of Cyber Intelligence and Security Testing and was responsible for the establishment of internal Red and Purple Teaming as well as Intelligence Led Penetration Testing. Mick holds the CREST Certified Threat Intelligence Manager certification (CCTIM) and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). He is a member of the CREST Exam Development Group and of the CREST Threat Intelligence Professionals (CTIPS) steering committee.
