Lead - Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership,
The Lancashire Skills and Employment Hub
Kerry leads the award-winning Lancashire Digital Skills Partnership (LDSP), that aims to bring together public, private and third sector organisations to address the digital skills needs of Lancashire and works across all the themes of the Lancashire Skills and Employment Strategic Framework. This includes a strong focus on cyber due to the growing Cyber sector in Lancashire and the arrival of the National Cyber Force.
Kerry recently completed an Executive MBA where her research focused on diversity and inclusion in digital and tech co-working spaces and recently won the She Inspires 2023 Women in Digital Award.
Prior to this, she has worked within education for over 20 years, starting as a PE teacher before moving to be an Assistant Headteacher. After several years on the St Helens School Improvement Team, focused on curriculum Development and innovation, she moved to a role in a successful Lancashire FE College as a Curriculum Manager across a range of A Level, FE and HE provision, as well as a Learning Technologist and staff development lead.
In her spare time, she is volunteer for Scouting in West Lancashire Scout County and likes to keep active walking her dog. She has even learnt to tap dance!
